Taking a Break from Blogging

I have been blogging regularly since 2011. As of today, I have published 922 posts over the past 15 years, plus hundreds of podcast episodes.

While I never run out of things to write about, it’s time to take a break from blogging and podcasting. I recently suffered an injury that requires extensive rehab and recovery time, and I also have another book in the works that I want to prepare for publication.

Today, I’ll share a quick recap of my seven published books and audio products, all of which are available from Amazon or on my website.

Love and Sacrifice

I am reposting “Tree of Hope,” a poem written by my friend, Darlene Dubay.

In her poem, Darlene reflects on the tree that became the cross on which Jesus was crucified. Starting from a tiny seed, Darlene conceptualizes what that tree was thinking as it grew, was chopped down and became a cross.

The Power of a New Perspective

Standing at a crossroads can feel overwhelming.

But what if your doubts are actually an invitation to grow?

Transitions often bring a wave of “what ifs” and “can Is,” but you don’t have to stay stuck in fear.

Today on my blog and podcast, we’ll explore how to:

  • transform your internal dialogue
  • identify your hidden God-given talents
  • distinguish between healthy caution and irrational anxiety

Whether you’re facing a career change or a personal shift, learn how to navigate your next chapter with renewed confidence.

Kindness Rewires Your DNA

Could a simple act of kindness actually rewrite your DNA?

Science says yes. From reducing inflammation to boosting immune cell activity, compassion is more than just a moral choice—it’s a biological necessity.

Today on my podcast and blog, we’ll blend modern research with timeless biblical wisdom. We’ll explore how we are hardwired for empathy and how “doing good” can literally improve our health.

Join me as we dive into the fascinating connection between the soul and the cell, and learn practical ways to cultivate a heart of intentional kindness.

Rhythm Over Rigidity: A Guide to Work-Play Balance

Do you ever feel like you’re walking a tightrope between your career and your personal life? We often treat “balance” as a destination we never quite reach, leading to burnout and frustration.

But what if balance isn’t a perfect split, but a seasonal rhythm designed by God?

Today on my blog and podcast, we’ll explore how to navigate life’s shifting demands with grace and flexibility. Whether you are in a season of intense labor or much-needed reflection, it’s time to find your footing again.

Goal Setting 101: An Essential Worksheet

We all have dreams, but without a clear structure, even the best intentions can fall by the wayside. If you’ve ever started a project only to lose steam a few weeks later, you might be missing the “basics” of goal setting.

Today on my blog and podcast, we break down the anatomy of a successful goal—from crafting a precise statement and identifying obstacles to the power of daily visualization.

Whether you’re moving house or starting a new career, these steps will help you stay the course.

Includes a free downloadable goal worksheet.

Anticipating Good Things: Turning Your Vision into Reality

Are you ready to stop wishing and start walking toward the life you want?

Often, the only thing standing between us and our meaningful goals is a lack of preparation and a hesitant mindset.

This week on my podcast and blog, we explore how to cultivate “holy anticipation”—the belief that good things are coming and that you have the power, through faith and planning, to reach them.

We break down how to choose your primary goal and provide a five-step framework to ensure you don’t just start, but finish strong.
